Morning friends! Hope you had a lovely weekend… Seems like the weekends keep getting busier and busier. Friday I had not one but two events after work and then an early start to Saturday. Saturday afternoon I attended a lovely party hosted by Vanessa (Decor Happy) and Home Depot Canada where I got to mingle and catch up with my lovely and wonderful blogging friends! I was so busy chatting in fact that I neglected to take any photos! Bad blogger….. Fortunately the lovely Leah was on hand and grabbed this great shot of the group. Notice how I’m dressed? Nursery colour scheme! Totally unplanned but obviously love the combo.

Sunday was a catch up round the house day although I did manage to sneak in a two hour nap – bliss!
While I was chatting with my blogging friends on Saturday, I realized I hadn’t announced on the blog that our new arrival is a boy! We are thrilled although I will say I am slightly disappointed I don’t get to shop for little girl’s clothes. Can I just say there is a serious gap in the market for cute little boy’s clothes? They’re out there but not as mainstream as the cute little girl’s stuff. And, don’t even get me started on what constitutes affordable maternity clothing – yeck!
I will say that my blogging friends almost brought me to tears with their kind words and beautiful and thoughtful baby gifts. You are the best!!! Hugs and kisses to you all…. Have a great week everyone and be sure to check back tomorrow where I am featuring a great home resource – all Canadian!
