It feels really good to purge. Now that we’re making room for baby, I don’t have the luxury of
hoarding collecting all of the things I used to. So what’s a girl to do? Why sell it of course!
This weekend I’m participating in the styleNorth Garage Sale which is being held in the gallery space at Wychwood Barns (601 Christie Street). I’ll be joined by my friend Tim who writes the amazing Design Maze blog and who is an uber-talented designer as well.
As my living room looks like a bomb went off, I can’t show you everything that will be for sale… But here’s just a small sampling to wet your whistle…..
Fabric, fabric and more fabric with a few pillow covers thrown in for good measure.
These gorgeous vintage alabaster lamps were rewired and still have the ‘Made in Italy’ tags on the bottom. They were in my former office and will hopefully go to a good and loving home, sniff…
Absolutely adore anything brass and these swan bookends are no exception. But since I’m at risk of having more bookends than books, I will be parting with these babies as well.
So, if you’re in the city this weekend, make sure and drop in to the sale. There are tons of great things to be had. Here’s hoping I don’t buy all new stuff to replace what I’ve sold! Happy long weekend….
