It’s no secret that I love unconventional spaces. The stranger the better. Barns, lighthouses, fire stations, you had me at hello. So I was particularly delighted when I stumbled across these fabulous church conversions. The soaring ceilings, gothic arches and fabulous stained glass windows are not for the decor shy. They are however spectacular. One more item for the bucket list.
Extremely popular in Europe and the UK, most North Americans seem decidedly less adventurous when it comes to unconventional living spaces. So, what do you think? Could you live in a space like this? Or does the idea of living in a church freak you out a bit?
