When I was taking my design classes, one of my favourite courses was rendering. Also called perspective drawing, it taught how to sketch rooms and bring them to life using shading and colour. Michelle Morelan has a great blog called A Schematic Life which not only showcases her talented sketches, but also shows her technique in video tutorials.
