I’m always looking for great style at an even better price. What can I say, I love a deal. The projects listed below all follow the philosophy that you don’t have to pay big bucks for great style.
1) Turn a dated light fixture into a modern chandelier -Update an old glass and brass lantern into a modern chandelier with a shade.
2) Create some unique art pieces with an ikea frame and photos- This project from DesignTies uses IKEA frames, some of your own photos and resin to create an interesting and contemporary art piece.
3) Create a custom pelmet box to dress up a window – Little Green Notebook has a great tutorial on creating a custom pelmet box.
4) I love this idea for displaying children’s many art projects – Take pictures of the art and frame it contact sheet style in one large frame.
5) Turn a cheapie ikea dresser into a gorgeous custom nightstand.
You’ll be amazed at how great these projects look.
